Network Rules

Wipeout should be a safe and fun place for everyone. These rules keep our servers, our Discord and this website friendly, and they protect everyone in chat: some content hurts people even when it's "just a joke". Breaking them can mean a warning, a mute or a ban, and for serious cases a blacklist from every Wipeout platform. If you're not sure what a rule means, ask a staff member before you risk it.

Fair play

  • No cheats, hacked clients, macros, autoclickers or any modification that gives you an advantage. Allowed clients: Lunar, Badlion, Feather and vanilla.
  • No exploiting bugs. Report them in a ticket and you may get a reward.
  • No ban or mute evasion on alts.
  • No boosting, win trading or farming ELO or kills with friends.
  • Kitmap and Teams: respect the team size limit and don't trap players in spawn.

Chat, Discord and forums

  • #1 Caps lock: Don't write whole messages in capital letters.
  • #2 Language: Use English or Spanish in public chats and channels. Other languages go in DMs.
  • #3 General rudeness: Be respectful. Banter about the game is fine, insulting people isn't.
  • #4 Inappropriate names: Usernames, team names and skins have to be clean.
  • #5 Encouraging rule breaking: Don't push, dare or help others to break the rules.
  • #6 Inappropriate nicknames: The same goes for Discord nicknames, avatars and statuses.
  • #7 Light advertising: Don't mention other servers or communities to promote them.
  • #8 Spam and flood: No repeated messages, walls of text, emoji spam or mass pings.
  • #9 Sabotage: Don't ruin events, tickets or other people's games on purpose.
  • #10 Arguing punishments: Disagree with a punishment? Appeal in Support, not in public chat.
  • #11 Chat trolling: Don't bait people, derail conversations or fake problems to waste time.
  • #12 Selling accounts: No selling, buying or trading accounts or in-game items for real money.
  • #13 Rioting: Don't start or join mass spam or protests in chat.
  • #14 Scams and unknown links: No scams, IP loggers, phishing or shortened links.
  • #15 Inappropriate behavior: No NSFW, gore or disturbing content anywhere.
  • #16 Threats: No death threats or threats of harm, not even as a joke.
  • #17 Self-harm: Never encourage self-harm or suicide.
  • #18 Racism and discrimination: No racism, homophobia, sexism or discrimination of any kind.
  • #19 Trolling in tickets: Tickets are for real issues only.
  • #20 Asking for or sharing nudes: Instant permanent ban, and it gets reported.
  • #21 Advertising: No links or invites to other servers or communities.
  • #22 DM advertising: Don't advertise to our members in private messages either.
  • #23 DDoS threats: Threatening to DDoS a player or the network is a permanent ban.
  • #24 Dox threats: Threatening to leak, or leaking, anyone's personal information is a permanent ban.
  • #25 Discord's Terms of Service: Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply in our server.

Punishments

  • These rules can change at any time. The latest version is always on this page.
  • Management (Head Admin, Platform Admin, Manager and Owner) can punish things that aren't listed here when they need to.
  • Repeat offenders get longer and stricter punishments, up to a permanent ban from the Discord or a blacklist from all of Wipeout.
  • Trying to get around a rule (extra spaces, symbols, other words, alts) gets the same punishment as breaking the rule itself.
  • Think a punishment was a mistake? Open a Punishment Appeal in Support. Honest appeals are always read.
